Printer Driver Configuration Dialog, Paper Sizes Tab

Contains controls that are used to edit, add, remove, and reorder the paper sizes defined for the selected printer driver configuration file. The Paper Sizes tab appears in the Printer Driver Configuration dialog.

You can edit and delete more than one paper size at a time. Use <Ctrl-click> to select multiple non-contiguous paper sizes. Use <Shift-click> to select a range of paper sizes. Then click Edit or Remove.

SettingDescription
Define paper sizes Select this check box to define paper sizes for the selected printer driver configuration file.
  • For non-Windows printers, the paper sizes defined on the Paper Sizes tab will be listed in the Print dialog's Paper Size control.
  • Typically, paper sizes should not be defined in the Windows printer driver's configuration file. The complete list of paper sizes supported for the selected Windows printer is obtained from the operating system at the time the printer is selected. However, there may be situations when you want to override that paper size list. Note that many Windows printer drivers do not support application-defined paper sizes, and attempting to override the default behavior may produce undesirable results.

If you clear this check box, all existing paper sizes will be removed. If you do this in a non-Windows printer driver configuration file, an internal default paper size will be used in the Print dialog.
